Voting in Douglas County

There are several methods in which a voter is able to cast their ballot in Nevada.

Vote by Mail

The State of Nevada became an all mail-in ballot state in 2021 with the passage of Assembly Bill 321. If you are an active voter at the time ballots are mailed out before an election, you will receive your ballot in the mail.

You can request to opt-out of this program by submitting a completed Mail Ballot Preference Form:

Mail or deliver the form in person to:

Douglas County Office of Elections
1616 8th St. | PO Box 218
Minden, NV 89423

Mail ballots can be mailed in, or you can drop your ballot off at one of our manned Ballot Drop Off Locations staged throughout the county when Early Voting starts. Ballot locations are listed for your convenience.

In-Person Voting

Cast your vote, either during Early Voting or Election Day, on a certified voting machine.

See the Where to Vote page for more information.

Uniformed and Overseas Voters

Visit our UOCAVA page for more information about how to cast your ballot as a member of the military, or as a citizen living overseas.
