General Election Information for Douglas County
A general election is the main election where Nevada voters choose who will represent them in government. It is held every two years in November.
Voters may choose candidates for offices such as president, governor, members of Congress, state lawmakers, judges, and local officials. They may also vote on ballot questions that can affect state or local laws.
